Our Story

We are so grateful you found us!

I am Raegan- a wife, a mama of three, a homeschool mom, a cleaning business owner, and a South Louisiana girl who got very sick and decided to build something meaningful out of it. 

I was born and raised in Church Point, Louisiana. Small town. Deep roots. The kind of place where everybody knows everybody, and faith is our way of life here. I left for a season, walked through some of the hardest years of my life, and eventually found my way back home; this time with my husband, Brennen, and our three kids by my side. 

In 2021, our world changed completely after three miscarriages and feeling very ill for some time, my OBGYN started running a bunch of tests, and I was diagnosed with a pituitary macroadenoma- a brain tumor at the base of my brain. Brain surgery followed in 2022. That surgery saved my life but left me managing Addison's disease, human growth hormone deficiency, hypothyroidism, diabetes insipidus, and pan-hypopituitarism(that is just the short list).

One of my hardest daily battles since surgery has been relentless headaches. And as a mama overseeing a household and a cleaning business, I was constantly being exposed to cleaning products that made it worse. I could not find a single thing I trusted completely. Not for my home. Not for my clients' homes. Not around my kids. 

So with God's guidance, I started researching. And once that veil is lifted, there is no going back. 

Holy Grit started as a faith-based residential and commercial cleaning company right here in Acadia Parish. And out of that same spirit of intentionality and trust, Holy Grit products were born. A plant-based cleaning line made by a mama who needed something she could actually stand behind. 

Every product we make is phthalate-free, paraben-free, plant-based, and crafted with your family in mind. Because clean should never come at the cost of your health. 

This was never just a business to us. It is our ministry. Our testimony. And it is God taking one of the hardest seasons of our lives and turning it into something that serves others.
